Pre construction

We believe in the importance and value of pre-construction services and the positive impact it has on a project by either reducing or maintaining costs while providing the highest quality and best value.

In brief, Tri-State performs a great deal of Design Assist and Design Build.  It is in this that the overall team can work as a whole to see that the cost adjustments are justifiable as the project develops in design.  Tri-State has a history in mechanical design beginning with Nickey Sr., which has proven to be successful in finding ways to curb costs without jeopardizing the integrity of the project.  This can be accomplished with alternative designs, piping materials and equipment selection.  

Tri-State has the proven ability to work closely with the A/E design team, as well as the end user, to develop budgets beginning with conceptual documents and work with our estimating team to see this to completion with 100% DD’s.  We have an open path of communication between all of our team members to remain fluid in our decisions and suggestions.  

Tri-State believes in strong professional relationship with the GC, engineer of design, A/E and the owner.  We strive to work well together to work the budget without jeopardizing the integrity of the project.  This has been the case on many of our projects.
